Preschool
Staff
Our staff of Christian professionals is carefully selected for their
love of and dedication to children as well as their experience and academic training. Our
staff members are all born again Christians who are active in their local church.
All teachers meet or exceed the state requirements for preschool teachers. The state
requires that a preschool teacher be at least 18 years old and complete a minimum of 12
college units in Early Childhood Education. Staff members are required to continually
update their knowledge and skills by attending in-service training events and by taking
additional college courses in Early Childhood Education. All staff have fingerprint
clearances, and regular TB tests. We encourage all staff to be trained in Pediatric CPR
and First Aide. There is always someone on campus during operational hours that is CPR and
First Aid certified.
Our teachers are eager to work with parents and try to make themselves available to
parents whenever the need arises. We feel that communication and teamwork between the home
and school is absolutely essential for the optimal progress of the child.
Formal parent-teacher conferences are held once a year. Please check your school calendar
for the actual dates of this year's parent-teacher conferences. In addition to this
conference time a parent may request a conference at any time by calling the office or
dropping the teacher a note asking for a conference.
